vs Mixpanel
Mixpanel is for events in a product. We are for pages on a site.
Mixpanel invented a generation of “track this click”. It is good at that. It is a poor blog counter and a poor fit for a site that should not set a cookie.

Event analytics for product teams: cohorts, retention, funnels, identity. Pricing follows events and MTUs. Cookies or logged-in identity are assumed.
You have users, not just visitors. You care who came back in week 4. That is Mixpanel, Amplitude, or PostHog.
The marketing site should not join that graph. Count the docs and the pricing page with a 1 KB script. Leave Mixpanel inside the logged-in app.
We have no retention report worth that name — a daily hash cannot do week-4 cohorts. If someone promises you that without identity, they are lying. We will not.
