WordPress analytics without a cookie plugin.

The usual WordPress analytics stack is Google Site Kit or MonsterInsights. Both pull GA4. GA4 wants a cookie, then a banner, then a tag that blockers already killed. Cookie Free Analytics is a 1 KB script that does not set a cookie. The plugin puts it on your own hostname.

What you install

Add the site in Cookie Free Analytics, choose WordPress under “Serve from your domain”, download the zip. In WordPress: Plugins → Upload → Activate. Press Check now. Visitors load yoursite.com/cf.js— lists that block our hostname never see us. Step-by-step: the plugin docs.

What you will not get

No WooCommerce revenue pixel. No user-level funnel. Search Console is on the Cookie Free Analytics dashboard after you connect Google — not inside wp-admin. You get pageviews, sources, campaigns, and goals — the numbers a publisher actually opens.

Questions

Is there a WordPress plugin for cookieless analytics?

Yes. Cookie Free Analytics’s plugin prints the snippet and answers /cf.js plus /api/collect on your domain. That is the first-party install. Download it from the site after you add the domain.

Does this replace MonsterInsights or Site Kit?

For pageviews, sources, and goals — if you do not need Google Ads or Search Console inside WordPress. Site Kit is a Google product. Keep it if you run ads. Add Cookie Free Analytics if you want the visits the banner threw away.

WordPress.com or WordPress.org?

The plugin needs self-hosted WordPress.org (or a host that allows plugins). WordPress.com cheap plans cannot upload plugins — paste the snippet and use a first-party c. CNAME.
