Self-host Umami is free (MIT). Umami Cloud exists for people who like the UI and not the pager. It is a real peer: pageviews, referrers, events, a small script. No cookie banner required when you run it that way.
You enjoy operating Node and Postgres, you want the code, or Cloud’s free tier covers you. That is a good life. We will not talk you out of it.
You want the same kind of dashboard without a server, with usage pricing that stays cheap at 100k, and with pageviews that live in the EU on our invoice, not yours.
They have the GitHub repo. We have a hosted product and a price formula. If a CVE in a tracker you host would keep you up, Umami Cloud or us — not a VPS you forgot.
